The start of the time trial is on the Holderness end of 175 at the Sponsor a Highway/Clean Up sign. The finish line is Winterbrook Rd.
EDIT: There is road construction on River Road so we need to make another change. Let's try Route 175 from Holderness to Campton. If you are riding tonight, let's meet at the Holderness end of 175. We can determine the exact start and finish and we'll post that information for riders going later in the week this evening.
We're switching out the Short Time Trial for River Road this week because of pavement issues on Route 3. Also, not many people got to do the River Road TT last time through, so bonus. It'll run the "regular" way, from north to south. Go for it.
FYI...you can participate in person on Tuesday at 5:30 or on your own throughout the week. Here are the guidelines/rules/info.
This is an individual time trial (no drafting). Solo riders have from Tuesday through Sunday to complete the course and report a time. Group riders will go off at 5:30pm on Tuesday. Since Strava segments can be unreliable, please time yourself by other means. Send times to mightypemi@gmail.com--we'll post it here and place times accordingly. Points are given in descending order (if there are 10 riders, 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd place gets 9 points, etc.). Points go to your season tally.
Course: This ~8.5 mile time trial is a fun, sometimes winding ride with a few small hills and straight-aways to the finish. The course goes from the north end of River Road in Plymouth to the south end in Bristol. The start will be from two metal stakes on either side of the road right by an old, empty white house. The finish will be the start of the Peaked Hill Rd/River Rd intersection, which is just before Newfound Road.
