5/13 Stinson Lake Road Hillclimb

After consulting some of the local cycling talent, a couple more hillclimbs are likely on the docket.  Of at least a handful of suggestions, one for sure is Stinson (Lake Road), which came up more than once as an obvious choice.  Stinson, as many of you know, makes for a nice variable ride that's relatively close-by.  And we'll add another climb in a couple of weeks--probably one that's a little farther afield, but one that also got a few votes.

So this Tuesday, Stinson.  As with other hillclimbs, we'll have a group start and drafting is allowed.  Starting from the green on Main Street in Rumney Center, the course rises, with some hesitation, ~800 feet over ~4.3 miles.  Up top, the road levels off and runs along the lake for another mile+.   The finish will be the near side of the small bridge over Sucker Brook (just before Ranch Road), making the entire course ~5.7 miles.  Bring a way to time yourself.
Let's meet at the the common/green in Rumney to start the ride at 6pm.  Hope to see you there/Let me know if you have any questions.

*I'll ride out to the start from Rhino at 5:15.  Feel free to join me on the way over or I'll see you there at 6.
