Short Time Trial Results

We've done 19 rides since March, which is saying something: despite Tuesdays having become the regular meeting time of clouds in the Pemi-Baker, we only missed two weeks.  We rode in the rain a few times, but you've got to work with what summer gives you.  It was a great season with a load of record breaking rides--PRs and course records, but also rider numbers.  17 people showed up for one TT, which bodes well for 2016.  Thanks to everyone for coming out--we're looking forward to next spring.

The last time trial certainly involved clouds, but 7 riders still came out (welcome to new-to-the-series Deidre).  We rode up to the start with rumbling, dark skies, then did the time trial in the rain.  It was still fairly warm at ~75, small headwind.  Carl led the way, followed by some other strong times considering the conditions:

  Congratulations to Carl Ring, who adds the time trial win to the hillclimbs and takes the overall decisively--nice job.  The champion's 6 pack is yours.  Ryanne Carmichael takes women's overall (and 3rd open in the time trials) for a great finish to riding strong.
  John J. and Ann R. take the tandem category for the season, after a mix of fast rides in the time trials and hillclimbs.  Even though there were no other tandems to contest, safe to say the results would be the same.
