Hope you "enjoy" the first Series climb of the season up Ellsworth Hill Rd. With so much change these days, it's nice to know some rides are immutable; Ellsworth Hill Rd is as steep as ever. Also, we want to be as fair as possible to folks riding solo or with others, so please don't forget that, for now, drafting is not allowed on hillclimbs--treat the start just as you would a time trial.
The start of this climb is on the Plymouth end of the Physical Therapy office parking lot on Route 3. It's across from Chesley's Pizza/gas in Campton. We will try to mark this with the light blue stake soon. The finish is the Ellsworth town line--sign is on the left ~3.9 miles up.
Riders have from Tuesday through Sunday to complete the course and report a time. Since Strava segments can be unreliable, please time yourself by other means. Send times to mightypemi@gmail--we'll post it here and place times accordingly. Points are given in descending order (if there are 10 riders, 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd place gets 9 points, etc.). Points go to your season tally.
Reminder from last year - please note: Chesley's has asked us not to park in their lot for rides, so please use alternative parking in case you're driving there. Thanks!

Course: Starting at the bottom of Ellsworth Hill Rd in Campton, this climb wastes no time in starting its ~850 feet of gain over ~3.9 miles. After the initial climb, there's some reprieve mixed in with ups and downs, then a sprint to the town line finish. Bring some way of timing yourself.
Course Records: M: Kris Freeman, 14:56, 7/10/2018 W: Ryanne Carmichael, 19:22, 8/2/16 Tandem: John Jurczynski & Ann Benoit Jurczynski, 17:09, 8/2/16.
