You'll see the Series schedule to the right; we'll continue to alternate weekly between time trials and hillclimbs. The courses remain the same, including a good mix of four climbs and four time trials. We're certainly open to ideas for new spots and changes with the proviso that possibilities be a reasonable ride from Plymouth.
First up is the River Road Time Trial. Come out and kick off 2019--we're excited to get out there with you!
4/2/19: River Road Time Trial
This is an individual time trial (no drafting)--riders will go off in 30 second intervals, ordered roughly from slower to faster. Points are given in descending order (if there are 10 riders, 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd place gets 9 points, etc.). Points go to your season tally.
Course: This ~8.5 mile time trial is a fun, sometimes winding ride with a few small hills and straight-aways to the finish. The course goes from the north end of River Road in Plymouth to the south end in Bristol. The start will be from two metal stakes on either side of the road right by an old, empty white house, and the finish will be the start of the Peaked Hill Rd/River Rd intersection, which is just before Newfound Road.
Course Records: M: Kris Freeman, 19:09, 6/19/18 W: Ryanne Carmichael, 23:53, 6/19/18 T: John Jurczynski & Ann Benoit Jurczynski, 20:35, 6/19/18
Look to meet up with folks by by the start at 6pm. Hope to see you out there/let us know if you have any questions--you can comment here or email mightypemi at gmail. If the weather is questionable, check back here for ride confirmation around 4pm.
